Aldi Skin Care

Yes, I’m talking about Aldi skin care again. I’m aware that I have only published a post about Aldi Skin care quite recently. BUT, their stuff is so amazing that I just had to share my newest finds with you!

I’ve gone from being a bit of a brand snob to now hunting high and low for some lacura skincare! I just can’t help myself! I cant get enough of the Aldi skin care dupes!

So, let’s get into my new Aldi Skin Care favourites

Lacura Miracle Cream

Aldi Skin Care - Lacura Miracle Cream

The Lacura Miracle Cream promises to sooth dry skin, promote healthy skin, seal in moisture, soften chapped lips and dry cuticles, shape eyebrows and revitalise the delicate skin on your eyelids. Now, who doesn’t want all of that?

The cream itself is more of a slightly greasy gel with an orange tint. I tried it on my feet once but I didn’t like how it left my feet feeling greasy. I do love the cream as a lip balm though, as it leaves your lips lovely and soft with a glossy finish. It does work nicely on the brows and cuticles too. Currently, I’m testing on the stretch marks that I have my stomach from being pregnant. I’ll let you know if it has any effect!

This cream is £3.99 for 50ml

Lacura Glycolic Daily Cleansing Pads

Aldi Skin Care - Lacura Glycolic Daily Cleansing Pads

These cleansing pads are probably my favourite find from Aldi skin care! They have Glycolic acid which an AHA. And apparently these are very good for the skin. Glycolic acid is basically an exfoliator. According to the tub, the pads will give you a brighter and more radiant complexion and improve skin tone and texture. Yes and please.

I have been using the Cleansing Pads for about a month now, just once a day and I love love love them! My sensitive skin hasn’t flared up and I do feel like my face looks brighter and smoother. They have an interesting scent, almost sweet? It’s quite strong but not overpowering. I will most certainly be rebuying these when I run out – if I can find them again!

These are £3.99 for 60 pads

Lacura Plumping Lip Gloss

Aldi Skin Care - Lacura Plumping Lip Gloss

I adore lip products! I love lip balms, glosses, sticks, liners. So when I came across a plumping lip gloss I was extremely excited and couldn’t wait to try it. I opted for a soft nude/pink shade named Laila. I was quite impressed with the packaging once I took it out of the box. It looked quite fancy with its rose gold lid and frosted tube.

I will admit though, I was quite disappointed when I tried the lipgloss on. I don’t know about you, but when I use a plumping gloss, I want my lips to tingle, really tingle so that I know its working and plumping up my pout. You don’t get that with this gloss, unfortunately. It still a really nice colour though. And I’m really not going to grumble when the price is £2.99!

This Lip Gloss is £2.99 for 5ml

Lacura Spray Moisturiser

Aldi Skin Care - Lacura Spray Moisturiser

Last on my list for this month the Lacura Spray Moisturiser. I found this when I was waiting in the queue for the tills. And I am soo glad that I did. I have used spray moisturisers before a long time ago and I had forgotten that they do actually leave your floor feeling quite slippery. So what I do with this one to get around that is spray it into my hand and smooth over my skin. Now, I know that kind of defeats the point but it works for me!

This moisturiser is so light and it absorbs into the skin within seconds. And that’s what I love about it. I can’t stand the feeling of clothes sticking to your skin when you get dressed after moisturising. You don’t get that feeling with this moisturiser so I am very happy! It leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturised so I count that as a win!

The Lacura Spray Moisturiser will cost you £1.49

Conclusion

And there we have my newest Aldi Skin care finds! I love the Lacura range. Aldi Skin care is fast becoming my favourite beauty range. Not only are their products super affordable but they also pretty much do exactly what they say they’re going to do (except maybe the plumping gloss!) Also, Aldi are cruelty-free accredited, which means that they do NOT test on animals and the products carry the leaping bunny logo.

So, if you’ve not tried any of their products yet, next time you pop into your local Aldi store for your food shop, why not try some of their skin care products. You never know, you might just find your new favourite beauty product.
