AD | Items have been gifted but all thoughts are my own.
Trying to keep your kid’s room up to date as they grow up or with their most recent obsession can be costly and to be honest, hard work! I’m almost too ashamed to admit it but we haven’t updated my son’s room since he was born 3 years ago. Time for an update I think!
However, the issue we have is that we rent our home, so we’re not able to just go crazy and wallpaper in funky colours or paint murals on the wall, so we have to get a little bit inventive. We did this by creating a gallery wall.
And that’s where the Poster store comes in.
Who Are Poster Store?
Poster Store is a company based in Sweden. They have a massive selection of posters and frames with Scandinavian designs with lots of different themes to pick from that cater to everyone’s tastes. You can choose from animal, fashion, vintage, nature, kids just to name a few. The list really does go on. And if you can’t find something that takes your fancy (which is unlikely), a new poster collection is released every Tuesday.
What Makes Them So Great?
From ordering the posters I wanted to hanging them on the wall, everything ran smoothly. The website is super easy to navigate – a massive bonus in my eyes! I popped a little heart on everything I liked, then from there I narrowed down my choices and selected the size prints I wanted from the drop-down. Simple. What I found really handy was the fact that you can view your basket at any point by hovering over the icon. This was helpful when selecting my frames so that I didn’t have to constantly toggle backwards and forwards between the two pages.
From the moment I completed the order, I was kept fully up to date with my delivery day, which was just under a week later (including the weekend).
Everything came extremely well packaged so there was no chance of anything arriving damaged. The posters were packaged flat so you didn’t have to worry about trying to unfurl them and keeping them flat.
What I like about the frames is rather than normal glass, plexiglass is used. These also came with a protective film on both sides so there was no chance of any accidental scratches.
Finally, what makes them great, is all of the Poster Store posters are printed on sustainably produced high-quality paper and are certified by FSC – Forest Stewardship Council, Nordic Swan Ecolabel and International environment guidelines ISO 14001. This means that the wood used for the posters comes from responsibly managed forests.
What Did I Go For?
After adding everything I liked to my basket for me (pretty much everything on their website!) I decided to raid the kid’s section and managed to narrow down my choices. And let me tell you, they are BEAUTIFUL. And, they don’t carry the hefty price tag that you would expect!
The prints I selected all carried a similar theme and colour pallet. Due to having cream walls, I wanted to keep things quite neutral so that they didn’t look out of place if we ever decide to change up the curtains or rug.
Our little one is having a few issues with his speech so I wanted to pick posters that we would be able to engage with and learn from and they are most definitely proving a hit.

With the animal prints, I love the cute and cosy design of them and the fact that each animal has its name printed underneath. We like to quiz our little one on the animals and what noise each of them makes. Although, we have no idea what noise an ostrich makes so we tend to skip over that one!

Our son is great with numbers so he has lots of fun with the numbers poster. We like to count the objects then quiz him on the numbers to see if he recognises them. He knows them all but has some confusion with 4 and 6. Like the animal posters, I love the cute, cosy design.
He’s got the numbers down, so let’s learn the alphabet! Each letter has a beautiful illustration to accompany it, making it a fun way to learn the letters of the alphabet – hopefully!
The Benefits Of Creating Your Own Gallery Wall
If you are like us and live in a rented property you probably have to keep the walls in a fairly similar colour as to when you moved in. This can make it difficult to put your own stamp on your home. By using posters to create a gallery wall, it is the easiest and simplest way to revamp any space within your home.
By creating a gallery wall, you can update your home without having to spend a fortune on new rugs, lampshades, furniture and without having to paint. Just pick your prints and frames and get creative. You can tailor everything to your unique tastes and style of your home.
Mix and match different size frames and prints and get creative. This option is perfect for young children who seem to grow up at a rate of knots. With Poster Stores huge range of prints and posters, you will be absolutely spoilt for choice, and you’ll be able to keep your little one’s bedroom updated and make it as unique as they are.
If you’re not sure where to start make sure you check out the gallery wall section within the website for inspiration. Be warned though, you’ll want to create them all!
Conclusion
Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with Poster Store and the quality of their prints and frames. We have been able to revamp our little one’s room with stylish yet educational wall art. Something that wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Poster Store.

These are absolutely gorgeous. The only little thing (and it’s it’s pet peeve) for me is when alphabet art uses capital letters. When kids learn to read, they use lower case first as those are the letter sounds. Like “a for antelope” not “A for aigh-ntelope” – does that make sense? Just my little bug bear though as the drawings are lovely. I’ll have a look if they do anything suitable for older kids as large boy wants to take down his marvel squares and replace with something else.
