Hello! My name is Lisa and welcome to my blog! I am very glad to have you here. I am a 30 something wife and stay at home mum. In my spare time, I enjoy all things beginning with P; Prosecco, pizza, Potter (Harry, obvs!) Prosciutto and pyjamas!
I started The Procrastinating Mum blog in 2019, about a year after going on maternity leave. My brain has started to go to mush from only doing baby things and I just feel like I have a lot to say! It’s good to do something that gets me thinking again. Baby brain is a real thing!
I have never been a keen writer, honestly, my spelling atrocious (thank goodness for spell check, that’s all I can say!) and I definitely overuse the exclamation mark (I just love it!!!!) but I wanted to share my story.
What Do I Write About?
I have always suffered from anxiety but after the birth of my son the anxiety took over, so I decided to start writing about my anxious life. The aim is to help sufferers of anxiety and other mental health issues realise that they are not alone, it’s nothing to be ashamed of and to seek help. Hopefully, I will also make you laugh and maybe give you some helpful hints and tips along the way.
So have a read and if you have a minute, feel free to leave me a comment or send me an email. You can also find me on:
Don’t be shy, come and say hello!
Lots of love,
