Hello! My name is Lisa and welcome to my blog, The Procrastinating Mum. I am a 30 something stay at home mum with anxiety, blogging about life and all of its ups and downs.
This blog is about my life with anxiety, all things parent/child related, and maybe whatever else takes my fancy also thrown in there!
It was about a year after going on maternity leave I decided to start this blog. I have never been a keen writer, honestly my spelling atrocious (thank goodness for spell check, that’s all I can say!) and I definitely over use the exclamation mark (!!!!) but I wanted to share my story.
I have always suffered with anxiety but since the birth of my son the anxiety took over, so I decided to start writing about my anxious life. The aim is to help other sufferers of anxiety and other mental health issues realise that it is nothing to be ashamed of and to seek help. Also, my brain had started to go to mush from only doing baby things for nearly a whole year so I wanted to do something that would get me thinking again!
