Hello, my name is Lisa, and welcome to my blog! I am a 30 something mum to one, wife to one, and champion procrastinator.
I first started The Procrastinating Mum blog in 2019, about a year after going on maternity leave. I didn’t have a clue what I was doing then, and to be perfectly honest; I still don’t!
I have never been a keen writer; honestly, my spelling is atrocious (thank goodness for spell check, that’s all I can say!), and I definitely overuse the exclamation mark (I just love it!!!!), but I just love talking, and I wanted to share my story.
What Do I Write About?
I am passionate about mental wellbeing, fertility, and parenting and love sharing posts on everything that I have learnt during my own journey. You will find many of my posts centred around mental health and fertility, as it’s where I have a lot of life experience!
I have always suffered from anxiety, but after the birth of my son, the anxiety took over, so I decided to start writing about my anxious life, and that’s how The Procrastinating Mum was born!
I also like to share beauty tips. Having worked in Superdrug in my youth, it’s there that I developed a lifelong obsession with anything beauty!
I have recently embarked on a spiritual journey to see if it will help with my anxiety. Expect to see a lot of new posts on this subject coming soon!
In my spare time, I enjoy eating, sitting, and being in my pyjamas. In the evening, I can usually be found eating chocolate and watching space documentaries, comedies, or a good Marvel!
