I am so excited to be sharing this post with you today! Although I feel like I’ve been on this journey for years (maybe I have, subconsciously?) I’ll be completely honest – I only started on my spiritual journey around two months ago. However, I already have quite an impressive collection of spiritual items (in my opinion anyway!)
There is a vast amount of items that fall into the spiritual category, but today I am going to be sharing my personal items with you.
Let’s get into it!
Healing Crystals
I’m starting with my favourite spiritual product here. I LOVE my crystals. I keep finding more and more that I can add to my collection.
All the crystals are said to have different properties and help you in different ways. Healing Crystals have stable vibrations, whereas humans have very unstable and easily influenced vibrations. They are said to help promote good and healing energies and help protect you from negative energies.
I use my crystals every single day, whether I’m holding them during meditation, next to my bed while I sleep, or holding on to them to help ease me through moments of anxiety, worry, or stress.
I also have some of my healing crystals dotted around the house to always protect me and there if I need them. The great thing about them is that they will never have a negative effect on you; they will only ever help you.
I’m not going to go into detail in this post about crystals and their benefits as we’ll be here all week, but in short, these beautiful stones are fantastic!
Below is a small selection from my collection. I have also included their properties:

1. Rose Quartz
Rose Quartz is the stone of love. This helps promote love, self-love, helps the bond between friends, family, and spouse, and is said to help heal the heart.

2. Citrine
This crystal is said to have the healing power of the sun. It is most commonly associated with positivity and optimism.

3. Mookaite
I came across Mookaite during a crystal workshop evening I went to. I had not heard of this one before and had no idea of its properties. We were told to hold the crystal in my hand. Study it. Connect with it. As soon as it was in my hands, I felt safe, warm, secure, and comforted. I didn’t need to know anything else. Mookaite is currently my favourite crystal as I’ve never experienced that before.

4. Dumortierite
This is called The stone of patience. I have very limited patience, so I carry this one with me at all times!

5. Amethyst Worry Stone
Amethyst is an excellent crystal to have in your collection. It has strong healing properties and helps with calming your mind of worry and anxiety. I like to hold this one in my palm whilst meditating.

6. Apricot Agate
I adore this little gem! Just look at all the beautiful rings. Apricot Agate is said to deepen the bond between parent and child, calm the mind, improve memory and help concentration.
7. Pink Petalite
And finally, we have Pink Petalite. This crystal has powerful protection properties. It eradicates negative energy, brings a deep connection to spirit, and blocks black magic.
If you’re looking for somewhere to get your crystals, I purchase a majority of mine from The Psychic Tree. Or just Google Crystal shops / spiritual shop / spirituality stores near me and see what comes up. You might be surprised – I know I was as I discovered that there was a shop just 10 minutes down the road from me!
Salt Lamp
Salt lamps are chunks of Himalayan salt that have a lightbulb in the middle. They give off a soft, gentle pinkish glow. It is said that Salt lamps can help boost your mood, promote good sleep (I can vouch for this!), clean the air in your home and help soothe allergies. Do they do this because they have negative ions, apparently? However, you do have to make sure that you get a genuine Himalayan salt lamp to reap the benefits.
Angel Cards
Angel cards (sometimes known as Oracle cards) are similar to tarot cards. However, Angel cards are used for guidance and encouragement rather than predicting the future like tarot cards. They also don’t contain any of the ‘scary’ tarot cards. Instead, all cards are light and uplifting.
I currently have two decks, but I’m looking forward to growing my collection.
The first deck I purchased was the Angel Tarot (aff) Cards by Radleigh Valentine. I instantly felt a connection to these cards, and so far, most of my readings have been incredibly insightful and helpful.
I also got the Work Your Light Oracle Cards (aff) by Rebecca Campbell. They are GORGEOUS! The soft feminine design is just stunning. At first, my readings were not overly accurate, but after spending some time with the cards, researching them, and looking into the author, they are now my favourite deck and the ones that I always reach for.

Incense
I am addicted to burning incense sticks at the moment. The gentle scent fills the room and instantly changes my mood. Incense can help reduce stress and anxiety, help promote sleep (never burn incense when sleeping!) and cleanse and purify your home.
The scent I’m loving at the moment is Positive Vibes Satya Incense Sticks (aff).
Sage and Palo santo
Also known as smudging, sage and Palo santo are used to cleanse a house or space from any negative energies or spirits.
Sage (different from what you use for cooking) is dried and bundled together. You then light the end, blow it out and use a feather to waft the cleansing smoke throughout your house. An abalone shell is used to catch the ash.
Palo santo is a wild tree. The wood is used in the same way as sage. Light the end, blow it out, and waft the smoke throughout your house to cleanse it.
You always need to make sure that you have a door or window open so that the negative energies have a way to leave. I usually say something along the lines of “I cleanse this house of all darkness, heaviness, and negativity.”
I love using sage or palo santo to cleanse the house every now and then. Because of my anxiety and the fact I’m naturally a pessimist, I feel like I carry a lot of negative energy, so I like to do a cleanse every month or so just to clear the house out. I usually try to do this after doing the housework and make sure that I get into every corner, nook, and cranny.

Journaling
Journaling is quite similar to keeping a diary. But rather than recording the day’s events as you would with a diary, with a journal, you just let everything in your brain and heart pour out or a brain dump, as I call it. I normally like to journal after working with my Angel cards. I ask my cards the question that’s in my heart; then, once I’ve picked a card, I journal out what I think the card is telling me.
The Moon
Okay, so technically, the moon isn’t mine, but I still use it in my spiritual practice. There are SO many things that you can do during the different moon phases, but as I’m a beginner, I’m not well versed in all the different options.
At the moment, I set my intentions and new affirmations for the month ahead during a new moon as it is a time for new beginnings. A full moon is a good time to cleanse and recharge your crystals.
Singing Bowl

The singing bowl is the newest item in my collection. I started by just listening to singing bowls on Youtube, but I desperately wanted one of my own. After doing some research, I found that crystal singing bowls are insanely expensive, so I opted for a Himalayan gupla singing bowl. I love the sound that it makes. It feels like it resets my brainwaves or something.
Singing bowls are a type of sound therapy. Due to the frequency of bowls when played, the vibrations help release tension, stress and help you relax.
I got my bowl from Etsy, and you can get your own here (aff).
Affirmations
Affirmations are positive statements that you use to improve your mindset. Such as, “I am strong, powerful, and capable,” “Today will be a good day.”
I like to use affirmations along with manifesting. Manifesting is acting and thanking the universe for something you want, but as if you already have it. For example, “I am abundant in patience and thank the universe for the extra patience for dealing with my son’s meltdowns this week.” “I am grateful that I make £1,000 a month from blogging”.
Obviously, I don’t make £1,000 from blogging, but that is where I want to be one day.
Conclusion
And there you have all of my spiritual items! No doubt I’ll be adding more to my collection in the near future – I just can’t help myself! I keep finding more spiritual things to add that I can’t possibly be without.
Also, since stepping up my mental health game and being on this journey, it has done absolute wonders for my mental health.
One of the most important things to remember with spiritual items is that you need to believe. You can’t just hold a crystal, for example, and expect it magically to heal you. Affirmations won’t instantly change your life; you also need to do the work. Angel cards won’t give you accurate readings if you just treat them like an ordinary deck of cards. You need to connect and bond with all of your items.
BELIEVE.
Make sure you keep an eye out, as I’ll be sharing my spiritual journey with you soon. I’ll be going into detail about my beliefs and what started me on this journey.
Are you spiritual, or do you think this spiritual stuff is all a load of hokey pokey? Let me know why in the comments!

I never really thought much about a spiritual journey because I always thought it to be linked to religion. But I have been more open-minded to it. My partner brought me some crystals based on my star sign.
I have heard about salt lamps, they look really pretty also! Angel cards actually sound really great, I think they would help me with journaling and affirmations.
Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much. I adore my salt lamp, it’s such a cosy light that it gives off. I’m not religious but I’m really enjoying my spiritual journey, it brought me a lot of comfort over the last few months xx
Thank you for sharing xx
I love this blog I have had several card readings. My view is if it works for you then it’s good and those who think it’s all a load of hokey pokey that’s fine too. We are need to feel happy and grounded. What you been through in the last few weeks you certainly deserve to feel better ❤️🩹
