Cookie Dough Kids T-shirt Review

*GIFTED* Since becoming a mum, making sure that my little one looks good is more important than making sure I look good. I love buying Baby J (technically not a baby anymore, Little J maybe?) new clothes. Whilst I’m still wearing the same tops that I’ve had since 2010! And I know that I’m not the only one like this! It’s so easy to treat our kids to new clothes, but we can literally have holes in ours before we resign ourselves to the fact that we will have to replace them! 🤣

Trying to find something a bit different and unique for Little J isn’t always easy. So, when I was given the opportunity to work with Kirsty at Cookie Dough Kids on a blog post, I was over the moon.

So, let’s get into this Cookie Dough Kids review.

Rawr is Dinosaur for Hello

Browsing through the website, I see about 40 things that I would love for Little J. However, I instantly fell in love with the T-shirt ‘Rawr is Dinosaur for Hello’. There were numerous t-shirt and text colour options to choose from. The fact that you can do this is a massive bonus to me. I like Little J to look slightly different from what all the other kids his age are wearing. So even if someone does have the same t-shirt, chances are they will have it in a different colour and text!

I was pleasantly surprised by the thickness of the material. Some t-shirts are made from such thin material that you know they are going to lose their shape the moment it’s been washed. But this one really looks like it is going to hold up. The other thing I was happy about was no annoying neck label that you sometimes get!

As you will see below, the t-shirt is slightly too big for Little J at the moment as I’d ordered size 1-2 years. Little J is actually 16 months now but has only just gone into 9-12 months clothes, but at least he’ll get some good wear out of it!

I tried numerous times to get a picture of Little J in his t-shirt, but as it turns out, my boy is not a natural in front of the camera. I did manage to get one of him smiling, at least!:

How did it wash and iron?

Anyone reading this who knows me knows that I do not iron very often (okay, ever!), so they’ll be laughing at this bit, but I digress. I washed and ironed the t-shirt inside out as per the instructions and didn’t encounter any problems. As you get with some printed t-shirts, I was worried that the printing would flake off, but it held up beautifully, and it has held its shape too.

My conclusion

The Rawr is Dinosaur t-shirt is £12.00, which I would definitely pay for a T-shirt of this quality, and delivery is only £2.99, which is excellent. I also love the fact that there are so many different colour options to choose from and that you can personalise everything.

So, if you are looking for something special for your little one, a baby shower gift, Christmas or a keepsake, head over to Cookie Dough Kids, and I’m sure that you’ll find something that you will love.

I hope you found this Cookie Dough Kids review helpful!
